While you will given frequent breaks, you can expect to be on set much of a shoot day so it’s long hours. It is common to get a day off in between depending how full your schedule is. All talent you work with will be professional and tested. The industry is strictly regulated.

JAV content is all about the actress. Male talent tend to be mere props with their faces blurred. You will find that many male talent are mainstream actors or work in other aspects of entertainment. There is not the same stigma associated with adult entertainment as there is in the US. Female porn stars can be very famous and revered mainstream stars in Japan while remaining completely anonymous in the US.
